Who lied and how many died ?

I promised myself this blog would be non-political. But, if, upon occasion I feel I MUST comment on something I see or hear on the air waves and I feel it would be enlightening to EVERYONE or to remind EVERYONE a little about history in the effort to HUMBLE everyone, period,I will indeed tred into into this tricky area. But ALWAYS,to be Fair and Balanced ( Have I heard that slogan somewhere ? ).

On the IMUS PROGRAM this morning I heard on the news segment, by Charles McCord a report that someone has a new website where someone is selling Tee-shirts displaying the following graphics: " BUSH LIED and almost 4,000 DIED. " plus also other versions on their website displaying the fallen warrior's casket with their name (i.e. BUSH LIED and this person died ).

The irony hit when I was in Washington D.C. last week while visiting the Viet nam Veteran's memorial I remember seeing a bearded vet in his early fifties with a black tee-shirt and bold white psychedelic letters which read: " JOHNSON LIED AND 57,000 DIED "

I guess we're back to square one. So what else is new ? ( The shoe's on the other foot )
